Fuse took over Radio City Music Hall for 11 consecutive days, playing host to Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear and Jack White, to name a few. After working together at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Fuse asked StudioBooth to capture the masses as they flooded midtown for the sold out shows. We brought out Solo, our stand-alone unit, and set up for the long haul. Eleven nights of rock and roll and 3000 photos later, it’s fair to say we nailed this one!
Amstel Light
This summer StudioBooth hit the road with Amstel Light in search of the best burgers in America. From Chicago to Boston, Philadelphia to the Hamptons, we were in full-on burger decimation mode. Eat, drink and take photos!
SPIN x Steve Madden - New York, NY
The Wooly was the perfect backdrop for our latest StudioBooth x SPIN collaboration. Pop-rockers Neon Trees played a private show in the downtown den as part of the Steve Madden Music Series. We came in and transformed an art-adorned wall into the Booth. Don’t let the Victorian paintings fool you, this was a modern crowd.
Don Julio - Houston, TX
StudioBooth headed down to Houston, TX to celebrate Mexican Independance Day with Don Julio Tequila. Roaming photographers captured the event at a private mansion as guests sipped Don Julio 1942. ¡Viva México!
Kotoba x NYFW - New York, NY
StudioBooth marked the begining of Fall with the Kotoba launch during New York Fashion Week at the Maritime Hotel. We spent one of the first Fall evenings on the Cabana with some sporty young ladies. It’s sweater weather in the Big Apple!
HBO's Boardwalk Empire - New York, NY
HBO’s Boardwalk Empire premiere near Grand Central Station was the scene for StudioBooth’s latest caper. Gangsters and gents, ladies and flappers arrived in true vintage form and we were ready, collaborating with HBO’s creative team to construct a replica set featuring a vintage Ford Model T and proper prohibition era accoutrements. After turning New York’s Cipriani into an Atlantic City back-road circa 1920, we created stop-motion animated GIFs of guests engaged in dangerous smuggling missions. In the word’s of Nucky Thompson “You can’t be half gangster!”
SPIN + Refinery29 - Brooklyn, NY
On the eve of Fashion’s Night Out, we stuck close to home with SPIN and Refinery29 for an uber-hip party at Williamsburg’s Wythe Hotel. While StudioBooth had roaming photographers capturing the event in Instagram-fashion, SPIN’s September cover star Azelia Banks took to the stage.
Dodge & Made In America Festival - Philadelphia, PA
StudioBooth’s summer was filled with music festivals. Right when we thought the tunes were dying down, we got asked by Dodge to represent at Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival in Philadelphia. The lineup was off the charts, including HOVA himself, Pearl Jam, RUN DMC, Santigold, Drake, Miike Snow, and that was just one stage. We pulled a Dodge into the Booth, put up the green screen, and had four different backgrounds turning the flicks into a quadriptych mash of the American landscape.
