Pepsi x Billboard - New York, NY

Pepsi and Billboard set out to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Bad.  They marked the occasion with a concert at New York City’s Gotham Hall with performances by Ne-Yo, Melanie Fiona and a DJ set from Swizz Beatz.  With the lineup in place they still faced one obstacle, how to bring the King of Pop back to life?  That’s where StudioBooth stepped in and did one better. Not only would we help MJ make an appearance, we’d put fans in the Booth next to him!

Berocca at Catalpla - New York, NY

StudioBooth had to squeeze in one more music festival before Summer ended.  Luckily we got to stay close to home for Catalpa on Randall’s Island.  We hooked up with Berocca to keep festival goers alert and energized.  On day two we helped cure some potentially hazardous hangovers.  StudioBooth threw down safari-style, while Snoop threw down doggie-style.  The Black Keys, TV On The Radio and A$AP Rocky all got in on the action as well.

HBO True Blood vs. Playboy at Comicon - San Diego, CA

This year’s hottest ticket at Comicon did not go down inside the convention center at all. Rather, HBO and Playboy got together to throw a True Blood-themed after party in downtown San Diego.  The entire True Blood set was recreated, from deep Louisiana swamp to a very convincing Fangtasia bar. StudioBooth got the call to add a bit of photo magic to the event and ended up creating a booth where guests entered as normal people and left as bloodsucking vampires. Check the fangs!

FADER & Captain Morgan

StudioBooth and The FADER magazine teamed up for the Step Into The Black music series presented by Captain Morgan.  We threw down in ten cities, in ten weeks. Flying the jolly roger from San Francisco to New York, Chicago to Austin, zigzagging across the States with a diverse group of acts.  The Booth was popping pirate-style as icons and newcomers alike took the stage, including RZA, The Afghan Whigs, War on Drugs and The Walkman.

Chevrolet Skateboarding

Many people were skeptical when skateboarder Rob Dyrdek set out to kickflip a Chevy Sonic. After successfully launching the hatchback into a 360° barrel roll and driving away, Chevy hit up StudioBooth to see if we could put fans in the passenger seat.  We never turn down a challenge!  We packed up our bags and hit the road, taking the Sonic to California, Arizonia and Missouri.  Though the Sonic never left the ground for the shoot, you wouldn’t be able to tell by the expressions of those riding shotgun!

Crown Royal vs. Big Boi

Big-up! to Crown Royal and Cornerstone Promotions for providing the entrée to once again push the standards of the traditional photo booth experience. We celebrated the launch of Crown Royal Black’s collaboration with ATLien Big Boi at New York swank spot Room Service by creating a blacked-out Light Trace StudioBooth. The Outkast hip-hop legend was straight chillin' and ripped the mic for more than an hour while the StudioBooth crew lit up the crowd.
