StudioBooth creates high-end photo activations that focus on brand integration,
social media outreach and interactivity.
StudioBooth was founded in 2008 by Dustin Ross and Dan Eckstein, two professional photographers looking to redefine the event photography experience. Their concept was to combine the latest technology with elements of fashion photography to create an entirely new way to capture events.
StudioBooth has since grown into a multidisciplinary photography service with offices in New York,
Los Angeles and San Francisco. They partner with creatively driven companies and individuals
to produce unique activations worldwide.
Dan Eckstein (Co-Founder) was born and raised in Northampton, Massachusetts and received a BA in Fine Arts from Skidmore College in 2002. He specializes in travel and documentary photography and his first book, Horn Please: The Decorated Trucks of India, was published in 2014 by powerHouse Books.
He lives with his wife and dog in Los Angeles, CA.
Dustin Ross (Co-Founder) grew up in Aspen, Colorado. Before StudioBooth, he worked as photo editor for the world-renowned photo agency Contact Press Images, based in Manhattan and Paris.
