StudioBooth teamed up with Fox for another zipline activation to promote their new show Gotham. This time, instead of mounting a helmet cam, we pulled way back and caught the entire ride across the Gotham skyline. Even though we were in San Diego for Comicon, you couldn’t tell because we worked our magic to take fans to the land of DC.
Game of Thrones at Comicon - San Diego, CA
StudioBooth and HBO went all out for Comicon this year, creating a GIF setup that let fans of Game of Thrones really get a taste of what it would be like to visit the kingdom of Westeros. We created a Green Screen set that included the actual FX backgrounds from a scene with Khaleesi (Mother of Dragons) and one of her dangerous pets. Guests perched on an actual boulder built into a Green Screen wall as the fierce dragon roared. The combination created a wide cast of characters and an array of amazing reactions.
Corona - Weston-super-Mare, England
The GIF Booth is collecting passport stamps this summer! After the success of the Corona SunSets festival in Ibizia, StudioBooth joined our friends once again, this time on the beaches of England. It was more GIF Booth shenanigans with multiple greenscreen options and animated backgrounds. The Bristol bunch kept us well entertained as DJs took to the decks, including sets by Disclosure and Annie Mac. Now we’re gearing up for more stops in Mexico, Canada and then heading back to Ibiza to wrap the summer.
Amstel Radler - USA
After StudioBooth helped Amstel launch their lemon flavored Amstel Radler in Houston this Spring, we took to the road bringing the Booth and the summer beer to cities across the East Coast. Amstel put together the parties and we put together the fun! This one was an 80’s themed beach scene with polaroid style photos that print as square images, perfect for Instagramming!
CNN - New York, NY
To promote their new original series, The Sixties, CNN and StudioBooth took over Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Station for one week. The exhibition included pieces from the Smithsonian Museum, daily talks given by scholars on the decade that shaped America and a Greenscreen Booth that took passerbys to an era long gone. From a psychedelic background to the moon landing, this Booth was far out!
Beats Music x Spike Lee Block Party - Brooklyn, NY
They whole of StudioBooth East calls Brooklyn home, so we’re especially excited when we get to set up in our own borough. This was one for the books! To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Do The Right Thing, Spike Lee hosted a block party in Bedstuy on the street where the film took place. We set up the GIF Booth for Beats Music and things got wild. Spike was on hand, with a stand up set by Dave Chappelle and a surprise performance by Public Enemy. It was a throwback to the block parties of the 80s with hip-hop, BBQ and dancing in the streets!
Corona - Ibiza, Spain
When you think about Corona, you probably picture a beer on the beach. Now imagine that beach is filled with an eclectic crowd, the GIF Booth is popping throughout the night and it’s in Ibiza! That’s what happened during the International Music Summit as StudioBooth headed to the Mediterranean for “work”. We had the greenscreen set up, cervezas on ice and backgrounds to choose from including an animated rising sun.
Strongbow at Suburbia Music Festival - Plano, TX
Coachella marks the beginning of the music festival season and every year StudioBooth spends the summer crisscossing America on the festival circuit. This year we headed to Plano, TX with Strongbow for a newbie, Suburbia Music Fest. The first time festival brought a strong lineup to Texas that included David Guetta, Alabama Shakes and J. Cole. StudioBooth brought the hard cider and the Booth!
