StudioBooth set up inside a Mercedes-Benz for the Variety and Women In Film awards in Los Angeles. We had the backseat GIF Booth rolling throughout the night to catch all the shenanigans. Donning the classic Hollywood black and white, guests climb in for a screen test unlike any other.
We crossed America with Renaissance Hotels for Navigator Live, which brought in touring musicians off the road. The party started in Phoenix with Cut/Copy turning up and the GIF Booth getting down. From there we hit Dallas and DC, bringing animated magic to a cast of characters along the way.
We wrapped up concert season North of the border in one of our favorite places, Montreal. The GIF Booth got colorful for H&M at Osheaga. Fans got down to Florence + The Machine, Schoolboy Q and FKA Twigs while getting splashed with a little color. In addition to their digital animations, they walked away with a good ole fashioned print.
For the US Open this year New Balance asked us to create an interactive GIF booth where guests squared off against tennis legends Milos Raonic and Heather Watson from the New Balance Tennis Team. We set up shop at Paragon Sports in New York and the Greenscreen GIF Booth was hitting hard as guests gave it their best. The competition was fierce but in the end, everyone got ace’d!
This July, we teamed up with NBC at Comicon in San Diego to promote the new crime drama Blindspot, where the clues lie within the tattoos. For the activation we superimposed guests onto the body of the show’s main character who has a torso covered in ink. The response was so massive that NBC asked us to take the act to Times Square. New Yorkers and tourists alike came out in droves to get inked! The music festival season is well underway and after some great activations at SXSW and Coachella, we were warmed up for one on our home turf. We had the GIF Booth set up all weekend for PayPal at Governors Ball where we put fans in the front row.
Since debuting StudioBooth’s latest innovation at SXSW, our cinema quality Slow Motion Booth has been going strong ever since. For Cinco de Mayo, we headed down to San Diego with Dos XX for a festive party that lasted all weekend as we captured each slowed down moment in high resolution. It was such a hit, we joined Dos XX in Austin for Psych Fest where things got even rowdier and we have the slow motion play-by-play to prove it.
This year StudioBooth roared into the Coachella parking lot to create some of the most impressive, and immersive, photo experiences to date. Every year the bar at Coachella gets set higher, and this one was no exception. This time we worked with our friends at JBL to create something completely new and we were thrilled that it came to life with spectacular results. The theme of the event was #EpicPoolParty so we created an underwater photo booth that required building an actual full-sized photo-pool. Using some StudioBooth magic we were able to create a waterless pool party throw down!
